Letter: A column full of half truths

In his column on June 22 (The Aspen Times, Commentary, “Is Obama a Manchurian?”), Glenn Beaton had a few choice comments on our president. They ranged from conceding that he is probably not from Kenya but likely from Manchuria to half truths about missile sites in Poland to poison-gas weapons remaining in Syria, to International Revenue Service persecution of Americans who disagree with Obama’s policies to prisoners exchanged for an American soldier who supposedly deserted to the Taliban to speculation that our president favors the “bad guys” in Iraq.

I am surprised that there was no comment on Obamacare. Could the commentator not find even one little flaw that could be blown up to half-truth level?

I think of half truths as comparing to truth as a bird brain compares to a human one. Not even half!
