Letter: A call for Aspen retailers to go tobacco-free
A call for Aspen retailers to go tobacco-free
Kudos and recognition to CVS Caremark, the county’s largest drugstore chain in overall sales, which has made the decision to stop selling cigarettes and other tobacco products by October. Kathleen Sebelius, secretary of Health and Human Services, said in a statement that the CVS decision was “an unprecedented step in the retail industry” and predicted it would have “considerable impact.”
What do you say, Aspen retailers? Let’s make a considerable impact and become a shining star of Kathleen’s prediction. Because, where there’s smoke, there’s cancer.
