Leave the insurance companies out of it

The poor of this country just got a reprieve from a death sentence. The American Health Care Act is dead and the Affordable Care Act lives.

James Kellogg’s contention that what the health care system needs is a free market is a joke. That’s how health care in this country got so screwed up to begin with. Capitalistic predators like health insurance, pharmaceutical, and medical supply companies and personal injury and malpractice lawyers and hospitals and doctors have driven health care costs beyond the reach of all but the 1 percent.

The only thing wrong with the ACA is it did not follow up on its original plan to be single source, excluding insurance companies. The best health care plans in the world are in social democracies that have no insurance company involvement at all.
