Leave it to the professionals

The Aspen Times reported the city is disappointed in the level of public input on the design of Galena Plaza. With respect, the public are not experts in the design of public spaces. Schools of design and city planning train professionals to do this. If few citizens are showing up to throw their uninformed opinions around, maybe it’s because Aspen citizens are smart enough to know this is a job for professionals.
