Impacts on Wagner Park not all the same

In the Sunday edition, Austin Weiss of the Parks Department states that Ruggerfest and the Motherlode volleyball tournaments are harder on Wagner Park’s turf than snow polo (“No horseplay in Wagner Park, Nov. 8, The Aspen Times).

How can it be? Has the city ever had to spend $900,000 on Wagner Park after either of these events?
