Enough is enough for high school students

I am hoping that the students and faculties of our valley schools and community will become members of the “neveragain” movement. This movement is organized by high school students who experienced the massacre of their classmates at Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, last week. To learn more, search for their page on Facebook.

These Douglas High School kids were not even born when the Columbine shootings happened in 1999. They grew up in a country where kids were being murdered in school shootings, year after year.

Forget fire drills, these kids grew up with drills to protect themselves from classmates and others trying to kill them.

We are the only country in the world that arms the mentally ill.

These kids are saying “Enough is enough!” Do something.
