Eat, drink and give back this Labor Day at the Eagles club

The Fraternal Order of the Eagles Club 184 is hosting our annual Labor Day

picnic on Monday at the club, 700 E. Bleeker St. and Newbury Park.

We only donate to local charities so the money raised stays in the valley.

This year our charities include Ascendigo-Autism local, Bridging Bionics, Mind Up and Aspen Historical Society.

Last year, we had 20 restaurants donate large dishes and 93 silent-auction items. Truly a community collaboration! We have been blessed with lots of new members who want to give back to their old or new town of Aspen.

I’d love to see you there; we are trying to recreate that old block party feeling of community spirit. You in?

There will be a dunk tank, $3 beer garden, live music, yard games and much more. Come join us for the fun.

The Eagle Club’s motto: “People helping people.”

Kimbo for Aspen City Council

Vote for Kimbo Brown-Schirato for council. She’s the right choice at the right time for Aspen. She listens, works extremely well with others, and she’s effective.
