Donate old skis and boards
Colorado Ski Chairs makes all sorts of recycled ski-related items: chairs, benches, cornhole boards, shot skis, wall art and more. You may have seen their work at the finish line of last year’s World Cup races in Aspen; Adirondack ski chairs with each country’s flags painted on them.
If you have old skis that may be heading to the landfill soon, please bring them to the Buttermilk parking lot to recycle them. There is a white Ford box truck parked in the ski shuttle/bus lane with the lift gate down and rolling door open. Toss your old skis in there and they will become majestic furniture in the future! Bring your old snowboards, too. Please do not remove items from the truck.
Deadline for drop off is Thursday. Colorado Ski Chair will pick up all skis the morning of Friday.
Thanks for recycling.
