City Council just keeps digging
It’s reassuring to see Aspen’s City Council living by the adage, “when in a hole, just keep digging.”
The district judge slapped their hands for illegally nixing a citizens’ petition about the new city offices. Did the city bow to the law? Of course not. They¹ve asked the judge to change his mind.
Not only is City Council insulting the judge by questioning his opinion. They’re ticking off more and more citizens, ensuring that when the petition ultimately is recirculated, there won’t be enough paper at Sandy’s Office Supply store for all the signatures.
