Aspen has had enough of Torre

Torre (really, one name?),

I was disheartened to see this name appear again as a prospective for Aspen City Council. Give it up, man. We have voted against you as mayor. Seems your shadow has been hidden long enough for you.

But, from my point of view, it was nice not to hear your name for the past two years. I feared this may be the outcome after I saw you on channel 11 gracing the current council with your presence. I then knew that you would soon declare your intentions for another paycheck on the City Council. Enough with the career politicians. Just vanish. We have a serious dilemma here in Aspen. You are not the answer. In fact, a lot of the problems we face in the near future have direct links to you in the past. Please voters, do not vote for this hack. Stand up and say “no” to a guy who wants to handcuff this community. We deserve better.

I would like to make a comment to Aspen-Pitkin County Housing Authority, city of Aspen, Aspen Skiing Co., etc. with the ongoing Lee Mulcahy drama that has infested our community. In fact, it really applies…
