What an excellent and informative letter by Stacy Standley (“Aspen proposal would end chances of damming Castle, Maroon creeks,” Jan. 22, The Aspen Times).

I was privileged to serve the city of Aspen under his tenure as mayor of Aspen. During his administration, Aspen achieved many great accomplishments.
