A cheap way to fight climate change

Wanna do something about climate change, but don’t have the money for solar panels or a windmill? Holy Cross and Xcel energy companies have programs where you can do your part cheaply.

For a typical Holy Cross bill of $133.57, you can call for 100% renewable sources for an increase of $7.61. That’s just 5% more! All you hafta do is call Holy Cross program’s participant specialist Craig Tate at 970-945-5491. Xcel Energy has a similar program for slightly more.

Of course, Holy Cross and Xcel can’t separate renewable from nonrenewable energy sources in your power mix. What they’ll do is call for more renewable energy due to your request.
