Letter: Scott Writer will get things done

I think Scott Writer is the best man for the county commissioner job, hands down. I would also like to personally thank him for the awesome event he held two Saturday nights ago. Not only is he getting the community talking about important issues, he is genuinely excited about getting the younger generations more involved in the process.

I have known Scott for many years now and I am shocked that his opponent even suggested that Scott would employ a business-developer mentality over environmental ethics. This could not be any further from the truth. I think we need someone with that type of moxie who will take on our housing crisis. I know Scott isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty. He wants to invest in the local community that makes this crazy town work, so that many future generations can have the same opportunities we all had growing up in the Roaring Fork Valley. Scott has had my vote since day one, and I know that he can be the change we want to see in this community! Locals first — vote for Scott!
