Letter: Honoring Robert Suter
I was extremely fortunate to know Robert Suter as a colleague and friend in the catering business since he established European Caterers in 1988. Robert was always more than happy to lend me some equipment or give me some ingredient that I might have been in urgent need of. He was always willing to give a hand to the various charitable causes that I might be involved in, such as the Bartenders’ Ball or the 24 Hours of Aspen. And always with a smile and the same calm demeanor he always carried.
It is a fortunate to live in a community that values supporting each other, whether a “competitor” or not. Robert lived that to the fullest. We miss you, Robert!
