Kinney: Questioning recommendations

I received an email recently from Aspen City Council member Sam Rose with his personal recommendations for two of the three city council candidates.

I’m not mentioning who the two were as I don’t feel it relevant.

I believe this to be a conflict of interest on two levels. First, he got my email address from my earlier email communications with the city and, second, made those personal recommendations.

I feel that some level of sanctioning is appropriate.
