Kelley: An inquiry to irony
I have a proposition for Pitkin County Republicans’ Chairman Jon Kelly.
In a June 1, 2024, Aspen Times article (“Pitkin County Republican, Democratic chairs comment on verdict against Trump”), Kelly is quoted saying, “This is the time for all Democrats to decide whether they are patriotic Americans who put their country and our laws first or whether they are simply partisans who are willing to use any means necessary to secure and retain power.”
Given everything that the Trump administration has done illegally and unconstitutionally at this point, I’d like to know if the same statement holds true for Republicans right now. I anxiously await his reply.
