Harrisons: Support for Tom Boyd

Tom Boyd has our vote for Eagle County commissioner.
We’ve been fortunate to have Kathy Chandler-Henry to guide our county through wildfires, a pandemic, droughts, housing shortages ,and more. With her retirement this year, we have an outstanding candidate ready to fill her shoes.
Like Kathy, Tom is a lifelong resident with a deep understanding of the Eagle and Roaring Fork River valleys. His enthusiasm for our amazing spaces and places is contagious; that passion is how he inspires people to come together to solve big problems.
He and his wife Renee have two boys (10 and 12 years old) in the Eagle County School District. We need a county commissioner who is engaged with our public schools.
His experience as a journalist taught him to thoroughly research complicated issues — like the cost of living, watershed health, preserving wildlife corridors, and climate change — and to approach solutions with an open mind.
As a leader at the Vail Valley Foundation, he promotes exciting, world-class competitions while showcasing our exceptional ski resorts. As a volunteer, he coaches youth hockey and builds ice rinks — tirelessly giving back to the community that raised him.
Tom is a well-rounded candidate and an always optimistic problem-solver. We hope he earns your vote for Eagle County commissioner.
