Goldsteins: Palm Tree Festival was remarkable

Bravo, team Belly Up! Your Palm Tree Festival this past weekend was a remarkable feat that appeared to be seamless at all levels.

It boggles the mind to see how you transformed the Rio Grande Field into a beautiful wintry venue which was able to accommodate a substantial crowd of happy concert goers.

Even more impressive was the music was barely audible at our home directly across the river, and the large number of orderly pedestrians never causing any congestion on Mill street.

Walking in the park both before and after the event I was thankfully able to see the efficiency of the setup and teardown and the park fully restored.

How great is it to have such a fun outdoors musical event in our small community in the middle of winter!
