Flowers: Don’t care for political letters

I find some of letters to editor offensive and heavily politically infused. I am referring to many letters of Richard Hampleman of Basalt, who keeps using The Aspen Times to vent his hate for Trump over and over again.

His letters spread nothing but toxicity and lies and truly getting old. Who cares about his opinion?

Doesn’t anyone read these letters before they get printed? Please stop printing nasty letters of political haters. We need positivity versus this BS. I stopped reading The Aspen Times because of people like him.

These letters should be only community orientated not an outlet for venting hateful opinions. I am spending thousands of dollars a year for ads in The Aspen Times. Me and my friends who use paper for ads agreed that we will stop advertising if you guys keep printing these trashy letters.

I truly appreciate your consideration.
