Emmer: Manage the existing housing

The mayor and at least one letter writer claim that opposing an idiotic project like the lumbering yard is opposing affordable housing. They are lying. I support managing the existing stock of affordable housing for its intended purpose.  I oppose endlessly building expensive units that wouldn’t be needed if the existing stock were managed properly.  I repeat; it’s irrational to build to meet demand because there’s an infinite demand for subsidized housing.
