I have spent years and still currently sit on various community boards. At times, this is an extremely validating experience in making a difference in your community, but many other times it is a thankless amount of time spent with many critics second-guessing your decisions. But good citizens must stay active on our community boards.
It is so exciting to see the next generation of community members willing to step up and engage in the upcoming Roaring Fork School Board election. Betsy After, a dedicated professional, mom, and friend to our family has my vote.
