OK, I admit, I am not a big football fan. But I am a big Super Bowl fan. It’s not only fun to watch the game, but it’s a great opportunity to get together with family and friends. We always have great junk food.

As a matter of fact, did you know that during the Super Bowl fans eat 8 million pounds of guacamole and 14,500 tons of chips?

I eat my fair share.

There are other things I love about the Super Bowl, including the halftime entertainment extravaganza. I heard that Madonna is singing at today’s game. I can’t wait to see what she does.

I also get a kick out of the commercials. They are extremely funny, especially the Doritos commercials. Did you know that a 30-second commercial for the Super Bowl costs $2.8 million? I hope no one is taking a bathroom break for that kind of money!

Then there are the teams. I know I should root for the New England Patriots because my uncle played for them way back when they were called the Boston Patriots. On the other hand, my family moved here from New York City. Hmmm … I’ll take the Giants with points!
