Aspen Times Weekly columnist Gary Hubbell touched a nerve with his Feb. 9 column, “In election 2008, don’t forget Angry White Man.”

Hubbell described a bloc of voters that, he says, is angry and will hand Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton a defeat if she is the party’s candidate in November. The column has, apparently, circulated widely over the Internet and drew dozens of online comments last week, including many from people who agreed with Hubbell’s viewpoint.
