This month, we decide the nominees for Governor of Colorado. Phil Weiser knows the Roaring Fork Valley — he’s here often and knows how special this place is. He will make sure we make it easier to build affordable housing AND protect our natural resources. As Attorney General, he has worked to ensure Western Slope water doesn’t get diverted from us. He has taken on Trump over efforts to open up federal lands to excess development. He has fought federal efforts to keep open coal burning power plants that even the utilities don’t want. Unlike his opponent, he has deep management experience over the past decade and knows how to get things done in Colorado. That’s why he has far more endorsements from Colorado leaders than Michael Bennet. And his campaign is funded almost entirely by Coloradans, unlike the many millions from east coast billionaires in a dark money PAC for Michael Bennet. Let’s choose Phil Weiser this month.
