Brabec: Look, no hands!

For all those complaining about distracted drivers and cell-phone usage, Colorado expanded the driving law with a new law starting Jan. 1, 2025, that prohibits the use of hand-held mobile devices behind the wheel. Drivers will be required to use hand-free accessories, such as Bluetooth devices, speakerphones, or dashboard mounts.

I haven’t seen any recent local publicity on that law. But with the slow stop-and-go line of traffic each day going in and out of town, I suggest using electronic bill boards to flash the message. Drivers would have a lot of time to read it.
