Tim Boyer Sept. 8, 1952 — Aug. 15, 2013

Tim was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Tim was a graduate of The Kiski School in Sewickley, Pa., and Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa.

Tim came to Aspen in 1982, fell in love with the community and stayed for the rest of his life. He was a martial artist and achieved the rank of First Dan (black belt) at Rocky Mountain Martial Arts.

Tim turned a lifelong love of movies into Take 2 Video to which he not only brought an encyclopedic knowledge of movies and television but also commitment to the highest level of customer service. Tim touched many lives and will be missed by his friends and customers.

There will be a celebration of Tim’s life and a sharing of fond memories on Wednesday, August 28, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rio Grande Commons: 455 Rio Grande Place (above the parking garage and Taster’s Pizza next to the Jail on the Library level. It will be a Potluck – Finger food/appetizers: Please bring a dish if you can. Music by Bobby Mason and Dan Sheridan.
