Robert Edward Flogaus

Bob was born in Carbondale, CO. His parents, Marjorie Myrtle and John Paul (Jack) Flogaus had a homestead in Marble. After graduating high school, Bob joined his dad in running Flogaus Sawmill, first in Redstone, then in the 1930s in Lenado where operations continued through 1974. Bob married Carmen Gene Gooding, raising a daughter and son in Lenado, retiring in McCoy and later in Gypsum. Bob is survived by a daughter, Betty (Bill) Wimmer of Oxford, WI, a son Jay(Carol Gonter)Flogaus of Gypsum, four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, step-brother, nephew, nieces, & cousins. His wife, Carmen, sisters Verna, Sally, Molly, precede him. Services Saturday, 3/19/16, 11:00 a.m. Gypsum Cemetery.
