Philip M. Cohen
Phil died on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at age 86 after a brief battle with lung cancer. Son of the late Pauline and Harris Cohen, Phil earned his BA from New York University and MS (Chemistry) from the University of Michigan.
Phil is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years Liliana, four daughters, nine grandchildren, his sister, two nieces, two step-sons and four step-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his grandson Benjamin.
Phil was an ardent classical pianist and loved to ski in Aspen while Liliana worked as a volunteer in the thrift shop and at the local hospital. They spent every winter for 30 years in Aspen where they made many dear friends in the town they both loved.
