Obituary: Sally Laing

It is with heavy hearts, that the family of Sally Laing announces her passing on March 25, 2022 at the age of 78 years, from C.O.P.D. complications. Sally was such a bright star, who lived life to the fullest. She spent more than 50 years in Aspen before returning to Canada to be with her family. Many will remember her as the “red haired checker” at Clark’s Market, where she worked for many years. Sally was full of adventure, enjoying, over the years, skiing, mountain climbing, canoeing with the love of her life, the late John Graye, biking and suntanning. She developed many friends in Aspen and always thought of others. Having a great sense of humour, she could make anyone feel at ease. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Sally would always quote “remember me and don’t be sad, remember all the fun we had” (Author unknown). And, Sally, what fun we all had with you.
