Obituary: Joe A. Soderberg
February 11, 1947- January 25, 2013.
Joe “Joey” A. Soderberg left this world on January 25, 2013. Joe is survived by his wife Vicki, his sister Donna Roberts and many nieces and nephews. Joe grew up in Basalt, Colorado and graduated from Basalt High School. He attended body and fender school and had an aptitude for painting cars. Ask his friends, flames were his specialty. Joe had a love for people and made friends wherever he went. He never knew a stranger – had a smile bigger than a mile and a contagious laugh. Joe had a passion for dirt bike riding. His motto was “Ride Like the Wind.” He was a leader and tutored many a kid on how to trail ride and do wheelies in camp. Joe touched many lives during his life and will be missed by many. A celebration of Joe’s life will be held July 27, 2013, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the Beck Ranch, 2928 Snowmass Creek Road, Old Snowmass, Colorado. Please bring a potluck dish to the celebration.
