Obituary: Frank Dolinsek

Frank J. L. Dolinsek 89, long time Aspen Native born August 31, 1923 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends.

Frank served in WWII in the 10th Mountain Anti Tank Division. He is a member of the Aspen Hall of Fame. Frank worked on the original Roach Run and Number 1 Ski Lift and Towers. He worked as a welder for the City of Aspen until his retirement.

Frank is preceded in death by his father Frank Sr., mother Nillie and two sisters Nillie, Jennie and nephew Frank. He is survived by his sister Josephine and brother John and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services to be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Aspen on Tuesday July 2, 2013 at 10:00 am the inurnment will be at Red Butte Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
