Ted (Edward Wendell IV) Morse, son of Wendy and Rudy Morse left the earth peacefully on February 11, 2025.
Ted was born on September 18, 1944 in Bridgeport CT. The Morse family left the East Coast and moved to Aspen in 1946 when Ted was 2 years old. He attended Aspen Public School until his Junior year when he left home to finish his education at Fountain Valley School in Colorado Springs. From there he attended St. Lawrence College in upstate NY where he married Eleanor Fletcher, a student from Virginia. They had two children, Forbes and Ann Bryant while Ted was studying to be an architect. The family lived in Virginia until their offspring were grown. After losing Eleanor to cancer Ted moved to California to work as an architect on various hospital projects. There he met Cynthia, the love of his life. Çynthia brought two children, Daniel and Jennifer to the marriage.
Ted is survived by his wife Cynthia and his blended family: Forbes, Ann, Daniel and Jennifer.
He will be truly missed by his brothers and sisters: Gerry, Terry, Jennifer, Heather, Toby, Valerie and Cullen.
A memorial will be held in California on April 26, 2025 at Saint Andrews Episcopal church in Irvine, CA at 10:00 am.
