Obituary: Damon Peter Seiersen

Dec. 4, 1932 — March 29, 2013

Damon Peter Seiersen, 80, of Bradenton, passed away at home after a long and valiant battle with cancer.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Carol; daughter Lori Carter; sons Mark Seiersen and Gregory Seiersen; grandchildren, Gregory Carter and Brianna Carter; and brother Frank Seiersen. He was preceded in death by his brother Steve Seiersen.

He was born in California and proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He continued his love of the sea by sailing many years in the Pacific. He took up flying and was an avid pilot. After retirement, he moved to Aspen, Colo. for 20 years, and then to Florida to continue boating and flying.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be sent to Tidewell Hospice or the Cancer Society. All arrangements by Neptune Society.
