Staff report

Family and friends will gather Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. to celebrate the life of Susan K. Tindall, a longtime elementary school teacher, at the Gianinetti Spring Creek Pavilion in Carbondale.

Visitors will share stories and memories of Tindall. The family suggested that visitors bring folding lawn chairs and picnic blankets to the informal event.

The pavilion is next to the Roaring Fork River in Carbondale. It can be reached from Highway 82 by turning south on Highway 133, left on Cowen Drive to Eighth Street and then left on Gianinetti Road.
