Leonard Dublin, beloved husband, Daddy, Poppa and Great-Poppa, passed away on July 4, 2015 at 88 years old. Leonard was born August 2, 1926, in Brooklyn, NY, the youngest of three children. He survived his sister Sophie and his brother Ed. Leonard served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a reconnaissance photographer in North Carolina. He met his wife, Adele Pecker, at age seventeen, and they married at eighteen. Leonard and Adele were married for sixty-five years. After his release from the army, Leonard was a professional photographer until his move to South Florida in 1954. He formed The Dublin Company, which installed HVAC systems in most of the condominium buildings built in Miami Beach in the 1960s, as well as Sea World in Orlando. Leonard was also a land developer, building commercial and residential projects. Leonard is survived by his children, Sherri Poliakoff and Faith Messing; his grandchildren, Ryan and Keith Poliakoff and Ian Messing, and his great-grandchildren, Jordan, Dylan and Sofie Poliakoff. He will be dearly missed.
