Larry Leonaitis passed away on Thursday, April 23 surrounded by his family.
He was full of fun with a masterful wit, a good husband and father. Larry lived his life as we all would want: adventuring to the Arctic Circle, hiking the Appalachian Trail and motorcycling across Europe. In his battle with cancer Larry faced challenges with strength, determination and grace.
He will be remembered with every snowfall, every summer breeze and every fall apple harvest.
A gathering is planned at the Carbondale Community Bread Oven on Saturday, May 16 from 3-6 PM. Please bring a dish and a story. In place of flowers please go on an adventure together with your loved ones. We would like to share a special thank you to the teams who worked tirelessly to aid Larry in his fight and made the process as gentle and loving as it could be.
