Johnnie Irene (Hayes) Johnson
Born and raised in Abilene, TX she learned how to work hard young in life, often joining her father in his construction business. She parlayed that work ethic into varied endeavors including a directorship of environmental services at Aspen Valley Hospital and an owner-operatorship at High Mountain Taxi. Although a Texan at heart, her beloved Aspen was truly her home. Our mother was a protective lioness when it came to her family and viewed her loved ones through rose colored glasses. A fun loving, free spirited person who gave wholeheartedly, worked hard, played hard, and loved fiercely.
