Jerome Goldman

Jerome Goldman was born in 1933 in Oklahoma City and passed away in Santa Monica, California after a long and brave battle with cancer. Jerome graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1955 and moved to California in 1957 where he lived the remainder of his life. A self-taught cook and wine lover, Jerome loved to entertain friends with his culinary creations. He was also a passionate skier who spent the majority of his time in the winter skiing in Colorado, where he had a residence.

Jerome was predeceased by his father Alfred Dreyfus Goldman and his mother Helen Katz Goldman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is survived by his one true love, his devoted and beloved wife of 29 years, Karen Goldman.

A loving and devoted husband, and a good and kind-hearted man, his presence will be missed and his memory cherished by those many friends and relatives who he felt fortunate to have remained close with him for many years. He was a compassionate and giving individual, a man with a wry sense of humor and a quick wit; a man who found joy in the many small things that everyday life had to offer. Jerome will be remembered as a man with a generous spirit and a zest for life.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 26, 2013, at Fairlawn Cemetery, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
