Jerome Aaron Josephs

Jerome Aaron Josephs, of Palm Beach, FL, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Palm Beach, two months shy of his 90th birthday. He was the son of the late Clara and Charles Josephs of Pittsburgh, PA and the brother of the late Natalie Levison and Marvin Josephs.

He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and co-owner, along with his brother, Marvin, of The Coach House men’s clothing stores in Pittsburgh. He was the beloved husband of Natalie Morgan Josephs for 56 years, and the proud father of Lauri Wiss (Garland, TX), Ronald Josephs (Encino, CA), Carolyn Hamlet (Aspen, CO) and Marni Grossman (Dover, MA). His seven loving grandchildren include Amanda Wiss, Lauren, Eric and Adam Josephs, Lucas and Liam Grossman and Bryce Hamlet. His great-grandchild, Lucille Margolies Josephs, was born September 22, 2016.

The funeral took place Friday, January 13, 2017 at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel in Delray Beach, FL. Contributions in Jerry’s honor may be made to the Methodist Health Foundation, Transplant Fund, 550 N. University Blvd, Suite 4601, Indianapolis, IN 46202.

Jerry (and his endearing sense of humor) will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
