James Franklin Newkam

Our beloved brother Jim died April 2nd after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. Jim owned/operated Attic Fantasies, with his brothers for over 40 years; volunteered for the Highlands Ski Patrol in the 80’s; guided for Outward Bound with CMC; and could frequently be seen digging out fire hydrants after a big storm. An avid runner, he was often seen running up Ute Trail carrying a log on his shoulders. He is survived by brothers Patrick and Scott. A memorial at Crossroads Church is scheduled for Saturday, May 10, 2014, at 3:00 P.M.
