Jeanette was born November 29th, 1936 in Haskell, Texas to Arbra Patton and Iva Layla Patton (Keel). Jeanette (Iva) is survived by her loving husband, Clois Kelly Lyon of over 60 years; daughters, Mellonee Grange and Melinda Lyon-Bell; son, Michael Lyon and wife Carrie Lyon; her seven grandchildren, Heather Farney, Matt Grange and wife , Sarah Copenhaver, Joshua Lyon and wife Taryn Lyon, Zachary Lyon and wife Morgan Lyon, Amber Bell, Cody Lyon and fiancé Stephanie Gray; and her fourteen great-grandchildren.

Jeanette had a beautiful soul that is reflected by a life filled with compassion, grace, and the joy she brought to those around her. She lived, loved, danced, and sang her way through an amazing life. Jeanette moved from Pampa, Texas with her husband and three children to Gunnison, Colorado in 1966. From there she lived in Aspen, Basalt, Marble, and Silt Mesa, where she and her husband spent her last 22 years. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, painting, gardening, walking, and taking in the fresh mountain air, especially at her favorite places on the Western Slope, Maroon Bells Lake and The Crystal Mill above Marble, to name a few. She is not forgotten nor far from our hearts. We love you Nanna and find comfort in knowing we will all be with you again someday.
