Gordon Merrill Ford

Gordon Merrill Ford of Sandwich, New Hampshire, passed away on June 30, 2014. He was an avid skier and beloved member of the Aspen Highlands Ski Patrol in the 1970s. He spent many years in Aspen, skiing double black diamonds, hunting Sasquatch with his dog Otis, and hiking.

It was also in Aspen that he met his wife, who is the daughter of Mary and Jim Hayes, Elli Hayes. They moved to Sandwich in 1981 where they had two children. He was survived by his sister Miriam, wife Elli, daughters Meridith and Alice, and grandson John.

Burial service to be held in Sandwich New Hampshire on July 5 and a memorial service to follow on Aug. 9, 2014 in Sandwich, New Hampshire. All those that would like to honor his memory are welcome to attend the memorial service to be held at the Ford residence.
