Eleaner Ann Edelmann (Miller)

After losing her battle with cancer, Eleaner Edelmann went home to be with the Lord. She hailed from Philadelphia, but,in 1976,she and her husband, Bob, loaded up a suburban and trailer with their five children and ventured west, finally landing in Las Vegas. Once her children were grown and gone, she moved to New Castle, Colorado where she resided for fourteeen years and enjoyed a career working for Total Merchant Services. Her co-workers have nothing but praise for this warm-hearted woman who was always doing something for someone to make their life better. Brittany Sams, a co-worker, remarked on hearing of her passing, “EE was such a dear friend of mine. She was my mother/grandmother away from home. The car pooling for years back and forth to work, spending holidays together, getting nails done, etc. She certainly was our angel on earth.” Eleaner adored living in the beautiful Colorado Rockies and is now full of joy and peace living in the loving arms of her savior, Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her siblings: Susan Stahland Frank Miller; Her children: Debbie O’Rourke, Robert Edelmann, Eleanor Jackson Valdez, Laurie Petersen and Darren Edelmann; Her grandchildren: Janelle, Kevin, Nicole, Bryan, Rachael, Cecil, Melissa, Samantha, Erica, Derrick, Drew, Lindsey and 7great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Edelmann, parents, Eleanor and Frank Miller and her granddaughter, Christina Edelmann.
She was especially grateful to her granddaughter, Melissa Jackson, who sacrificially, nursed and cared for her in the last months of her life.
