Elaine June LancettSantucci

Elaine June LancettSantucci, was born to Perry and Eva Lancett on June 25, 1932, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Elaine had received a Masters Degree in education from Xavier University. She spent most of her adult life as a school teacher in both Ohio and Florida. It was in Miami, Florida where she met the love of her life, Vincent Santucci. They were married in Florida in June

of 1969 and enjoyed 45 glorious years together. Moving to Aspen, Elaine loved being outdoors skiing and hiking every chance she had. She was a lover of animals, especially dogs. She never seemed to be without one in her life. Elaine was an accomplished artist. Her paintings brought life to the walls of their beautiful home in Aspen Colorado. She was also an active member of the Les Dames of Aspen and The United States Humane Society. Elaine passed away January 15th at her home with her husband and little dog “Emma” by her side after a long battle with cancer. Vincent wishes to thank his extended family in Aspen for their thoughts and prayers. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The United States Humane Society.
