Dorothy Dickinson Heywood

Dottie was born in Pasadena, California to Madeline and Roscoe Dickinson. Dottie married Jim Heywood after dating at the University of California, Berkeley. They built a Snowmass house in 1976, and eventually made Snowmass their permanent home. Dot loved activities with friends in the Aspen community and the Colorado Mountain Club, was hiking in July, and still hit tennis balls until becoming ill late August. Her death is mourned by those who loved her spirit.
