Barbara Louise Sterker

July 31, 1928 — March 16, 2017

Barbara Louise Copeland was born to Eula May Denning-Copeland and James Eugene Copeland, July 31, 1928 in Dallas, Texas and died March 16, 2017 in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Barbara graduated from North Dallas High School, attended college in Denton, Texas and married Phillip Sterker in 1948. They moved to Basalt, Colorado and raised their four children. Barbara later married James Purdy Wilson and lived in Cass City, Michigan. The last years of her life were spent in Fort Collins, Colorado. Barbara loved Texas and especially the Dallas Cowboys. Her favorite hobbies were dancing and sewing. Everyone knew Barbara for her endearing gift for gab. Sharing in conversation was one of her favorite pastimes. She will be dearly missed.

Barbara is survived by children, Mike Sterker, Pat Colman (Phil), Kathy Manyik (Gary), Chris Anderson (Ben); eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
