You’ve worn out your welcome

Dear Editor:

Ooops, I hit send before I finished my letter to the editor about Lee Mulcahy … Most of the money spent on improvements by Aspen Skiing Co. comes from private lessons.

Our visitors come here to enjoy the best skiing in the country. To enjoy some of the best restaurants in the country. To enjoy incredible nightlife.

And by far to be taught by the very best ski instructors anywhere in the world. I ski about 100 days a year and hear the above comments over and over.

Count your blessings, Lee. By your own admissions you make up to $30,000 a season counting tips. That equals to about $50 bucks an hour. You have an excellent reputation as an instructor. You have many clients who request you as an instructor year after year. And look at where you work!

You have, or perhaps now had, a job to return to after spending the off season with your partner doing whatever you wish. Not many people are so blessed.

Lee, what is your problem?

My suggestion to you is to not come back if you are offered your position back. Go somewhere else and leave us and our guests alone.
