You made my day

Aspen Times writer

Dear Editor:If I hadn’t lost my 20-year-old wedding ring in Wagner Park, I would not have had the pleasure of thanking two young Aspen-area girls for its safe return.Kylie Davis and Camille Lassalette found the ring in the grass after their soccer practice and delivered it to the police department. I am of course lucky, but also fortunate to be reminded of the good will that does go around. I could get over the loss of a material item, but I will forever remember what these little girls did. Thanks, Camille and Kylie (and your parents) for making my day. I really appreciate your kindness. Laura PattersonAspenP.S. I actually also lost my diamond anniversary band the same day. To have the second one found and returned would be just too amazing!
