Wrong message?

Dear Editor:I think we are missing the main point of this drug raid. We are sending a message to our young people is that it’s OK to use and sell small amounts of cocaine. For the children who saw the bust firsthand, maybe this will make them never go near cocaine the rest of their lives. I ask parents: What would you prefer, the above or having your child found dead, addicted or in jail in another city not so tolerant?Young people will say it’s OK for adults, it’s OK for us, that’s city policy. Who is selling this stuff to our children? Where are they buying it? This should be the problem we should be addressing, not the police doing their job.Greg HughesAspen
