Would turf preclude The Wall?

Aspen Times writer

Dear Editor:

Now that the memorial wall has been dismantled and carted off to its next destination, I think there are many thank you’s due to everyone responsible. It was a great happening and affected everyone directly or indirectly who visited it over the weekend, including me.

I don’t know if it’s proper, interjecting politics into this letter, but from the way I saw it on my three visits, if the artificial turf advocates had their way, something like this wouldn’t be possible in the future.
